If calls aren’t being forwarded to Clara, here are the most common causes and fixes.
Check your forwarding setup
The most common issue is that call forwarding hasn’t been activated correctly.
- Open the Clara app and go to Settings → Call Forwarding
- Check that the forwarding code shown matches what you’ve dialled
- If unsure, re-dial the forwarding code
Disable network voicemail
Some mobile networks have built-in voicemail that takes priority over call forwarding. If calls are going to your network voicemail instead of Clara:
- Contact your network provider and ask them to disable voicemail
- Or dial the voicemail deactivation code for your network (shown in the Clara app)
Check your phone settings
- Do Not Disturb — if enabled, your phone may not forward calls correctly
- Airplane Mode — calls can’t be forwarded if your phone has no signal
- Call barring — make sure outgoing diversions aren’t blocked
